He is known as a tough, no nonsense prosecutor and was named Kansas prosecutor of the year in 2001.

Paul has served as the Johnson County District Attorney for the past 17 years.
Morrison, age 51, was born in Dodge City, Kansas. He grew up in Hays, Plainville, Bonner Springs and Kansas City, Kansas.
Paul attended Kansas State and Washburn Universities and earned a law degree from Washburn School of Law.
